“Cherry Blossom flower is very famous in Japan. Many photographs and artwork show the cherry blossoms when they bloom in the spring. In Japan there is a traditional event each Spring where people have parties under these trees like in this collage.”

“This piece is not a painting! This is a rice paper collage. I use only traditional paper called “washi” and a special glue that I make myself. The paper pieces are very fine so I use a tweezers and tear the shapes with my hands, not a scissors.“
