City Of Reflection

“I created this abstract city with its reflection on top of texture that I put on the canvas first. The colors have a calming effect. I was inspired to make this larger piece after making Autumn city on paper.
I put texture on the canvas first with molding paste and paper. I then painted the background with acrylic paint. The buildings were then made using molding paste and then painted with acrylic paint using a palette knife and brush. I placed gold leafing paper on portions of some of the buildings.”
