Growing Communities

“I was meditating on what goes into the cultivation of caring communities when I created this painting. As I created the marks of this painting, I thought about the layers of healthy attributes that create a cohesive community that values and celebrates diversity, inclusion and equity. Creating and maintaining caring communities is a living process, that requires a fluid weaving of respect, understanding, compassion, kindness, thoughtfulness, shared purposes and willingness to learn and grow.”
