Highway Overpass

“This was another piece that began with oil pastels and then I think I may have run out of pastels and I put the canvas aside. After many months I pulled the piece back out and began to paint over it with acrylic and Oil paints. It evolved organically and it ember that the cloud clicks were the last part that I added to the piece. In Pittsburgh the city of bridges route often in a bridge or going underneath one. This was a whimsical take on the steel city. And some of its bordering regions.”
