“In recent years I have been very blessed to spend some time in a small fishing village off the Gulf Coast in
Yucatan, Mexico. I find every aspect of that amazing environment to be inspiring but especially the
changeful beauty of the water; look at it for an hour and you may observe a multitude of shapes and colors.
Marlin’s Triptych is one attempt to translate the feeling I have looking out at that beautiful view; named
for a friend who’s nickname ‘Mar’ means their memory will forever be linked with the sea in my heart.”
